tar zxvf VMware-player-2.0.4-93057.i386.tar.gz

Then we will next to the installation

sudo aptitude -P install build-essential linux-kernel-headers linux-kernel-devel kernel-source
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r`
sudo ./vmware-player-distrib/vmware-install.pl

Accept or adjust the various options.

After a few minutes will have their VMware-player and ready to use.

To start, look for the program in the menus (Applications> System Tools) or simply run:

vmplayer
